MON-100

The MON-100 is a High-Explosive Fragmentation (HE-Frag), directional anti-personnel (AP) landmine designed by the former Soviet Union. "MON" stands for "Мина осколочная направленного," meaning directional fragmentation mine. The mine features a smooth, cylindrical, sheet metal body with a cloth handle on the upper edge, usually mounted on a shackle and spike for securing to fixed objects like buildings or trees.
